  Jesus as 'The mighty + almighty God'

  jehovah's witnesses refuse to believe that jesus is the almighty god.

  they would state that jesus is 'mighty', but not almighty.. below is a 30 minute video proving from the word of god that the lord jesus christ is both mighty and almighty, separate from the father but equal too.. the verses used from scripture show without a doubt that christ is mighty (isaiah 9:6) and almighty (rev 1:7-8)..

  Phil 2:5-11 indicates that Jesus started out as an angel

  The idea that he was God and man at the same time came in the fifth century at Chalcedon.

  Wrong. The evidence supports otherwise.

  Ignatius who was a disciple of the Apostle John wrote this:

  For our God, Jesus the Christ, was conceived by Mary according to God’s plan, both from the seed of David and of the Holy Spirit.

  Clearly, there was no confusion about who Jesus was among the early followers and teachers of Christianity.

  Two chimps from the same tribe are further apart genetically that we are from Neanderthals. End of conversation. I am skeptical of "science" authority figures. May have something to do with the WT wiping out 5 genertions of my family with loads of arrogance and BS.. I don't know.
  
  

  The sad fact is that their is a long history of missing link frauds that have been put forth by biased evolutionary advocates. If you had a friend who lied to you over and over again, eventually you just wouldn’t give much credibility to anything they said. The missing links put forth look real scientific and respectable with their big names like ardipithecus ramidus but dig a little deeper and you realize there isn’t any real support for what they are preaching. Here’s some more examples:

  Ramapithecus, found in 1976, which was only the fragment of a jaw and several teeth was put forth as a missing link and turned out to be an orangutan.

  Javaman or Homo Erectus was a Gibbon monkey skull and a human leg bone found 50 feet away by Eugène Dubois. This was a hoax which Eugène confessed to before he passed away. He had also found two human skulls right nearby which he had hidden in order to make his Homo Erectus fossil seem more plausible.

  Piltdown Man was a human skull combined with the jaw of an orangutan collected in 1912 from a gravel pit at Piltdown, a village near Uckfield, East Sussex, in England. The teeth were filed down to make the fossil look more human. This was a fraud that fooled evolutionists for 40 years.

  Nebraska Man was made up based off of one tooth found in 1921!! Turned out to be the tooth of an extinct pig.

  These frauds are so preposterous it boggles my mind. But they linger in texbooks and museums for decades deceiving the public. Over and over, I have seen "scientists" falsify data.

  They just make stuff up and feel completely self-righteous in doing so. They know what is good for the rest of us.... kinda like like how we used to lie for the Watchtower. "No, we're not here to change your religion. We're just here to promote bible reading". We knew what was good for them, right?
  
  It is not the early hominids we should be watching. The contemporary ones are much more interesting to study. They are known to lie, deceive and cheat. And, feel completely justified in doing so.

  My Prediction Regarding New Space Telescope That Will See Back to 100 Million Years From the Big Bang

  a new space telescope launched a few days age that will supposedly be able to see to within 100 million years of the big bang.

  wow... only 100 million years from the big bang.

  that is pretty early given the 12 billion year age of the universe assigned by scholars who adhere to naturalism.

  When you ask a million-of-years proponent where all the stars come from, they say from other stars of course.

  Reminds me of the Steve Martin skit where he expalins how to make a million dollars. "First, you start with a millioin dollars". (laughter)

  So, we are supposed to believe the the stars we see now are third generation stars. The reason is that the stars we observe have more elements than just hydrogen and helium, which would have been about the only elements present in a BB scenario.

  So where did the stars come from? First, you start with the original generation III stars.... (laughter begins). So, the starting point for the secularist in explaining where the stars come from is other stars. In other words, "First you start with a star".... How convenient. Really?

  Recent articles also confirm that the "early" universe Webb is seeing does not conform to a BB model:

  Christians have always maintained that Jesus was BOTH Man and God..... not one or the other. This is because that Jesus at times spoke as a man and at other times as God.
  
  The notion that man is only a body is largely a modern convention that of the 17th - 19th centuries known as Materialism. Bible writers assume that reader understands that man is a tri-partite being with a spirit, a body, and a soul - all three of which are YOU ... indivduall or collectively. All three denote personhood in the bible. For example:
  
  Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

  Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early:

  1Co_5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

  1Co_5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

  1Co_14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

  Rev. 6: 9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held

  Notice all the personal pronouns ascribing personhood to the spirit and soul!

  That's because man is a tri-partite being and bible writers assumed everyone knows this.... which they did until recent centurires:

  1 Thessalonians 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

  Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  When I study the bible with former JW's, I don't even discuss the topic of Trinity. Instead, I try to get them to adopt a biblical view of our construction and leave the carefully chosen WT materialistic adaptations. If a person rejects materialism, then they have ususlly have no trouble viewing Jesus as both God and man, since his spirit is the essence of God, not his soul or body.

  This perfectly explains how Jesus could say that the father was greater than him and at the same time declare that he posessed all power in heaven and earth.

  In my opinion, any discussion that denies the nature of man FIRST, is a waste of time in discussing the nature of Jesus.
  
  BTW, over 400 times in the OT the prophets declared, "thus saith the Lord". This phrase does not appear in the NT. But, 135 times Jesus said, "I say unto you". Interesting isn't it?

  Alot. There are a few verses here and there that talk about the topic. Jesus (the man who walked out of a tomb) mentions them as "male and female" from the beginning. But, most of the history of early hominids are documented in the book of Genesis.
  
  Did you know that modern human DNA and Neanderthl DNA are genetically closer to one another than two chimps are to each other?

  I never had a problem with attending a homecoming game when I was in high school. Never. Best Regards---Titch.

  No JW child would be allowed to go to a homecoming game especialy if both parents were active JW's where I grew up in Houston Texas.

  The catch-all rule was, "bad association spoils useful habits".

  Of course JWs can date Christians. They are the ones in the congregation.

  JW's are NOT Christians. Mt. 26: 27-28 specifically states that the New Covenant (Jesus' Blood Covenant) is "for the forgiveness of sisn". This is why people are Christian, it is what being a Christian means - getting rid your sin debt through Jesus. But, virtually all of JW's reject this and certainly all preach a different message than the apostles.
  
  The ministry of reconciliation through the blood covenant is what the Apostles preached. The two tier salvation that the WT offers was totally unknown to the Apostles.

  Galatians 1: 8-9 says that if anyone preaches a different gospel than what the apostles preach are CURSED.

  If JW's are Christian, then... the term becomes meaningless.
  
  There is no such thing as new light .... when the apostles died, doctrine was fixed until the Lord's return. It cannot be changed without beig cursed by God.

  JW's are definitely cursed by God. Bad, bad fruit.
